from Carl Safina’s January 30 ’12 blog: Will National Geographic TV’s “Wicked Tuna” Be Better Than Advertised?: “[Carl writes]…so we moved along to the narrative difficulties: lingering on conservation issues (you lose much of your potential audience), and conveying the intricate policy details governing international fishing bureaucracy (you lose your mind).” Ok–now March 14 Carl blog gives link to National Geographic video: “Wicked Tuna / Bluefin Experts: Carl Safana.” Below, me commenting from Japan, please note, in Japan no access to “Carl talks tuna on the National Geographic website”–we get black screen and the words “We’re sorry, this video is not currently available in this country.” Too bad, just where it’s needed the most! Aside from that, big thank you to Carl in USA.
