YES! Carl Safina, Big Oil’s Chernobyl PBS Need ro Know Video June 4: “We don’t want to use oil. We just want to heat our homes, have a cold refigerator, and have a car that goes. We don’t really care whether that’s done by petroleum, or by sunlight, or by, uh…hamsters.” YES! Can’t anyone come up with venture capital for robotic hamster? Low cost, low maintenance. Mass-produced without use of fossil oil. ?!

TOUCHDOWN! Carl’s interview on Colbert’s Nation is outstanding! Articulating to the mass of ignorant thought on the right that this has a reasonable explanation and ends is not an easy task, however he has set the bar high and put the drill happy right up against the wall. The lack of regulation on Big Oil has once again made us hypocrites to the world. Why is Europe (Germany) passing us by in technological infrastructure while we cater to our growing population with 30 year old energy methods? I hope this creates a paradigm shift.
